NAPERVILLE, IL, February 9, 2016 – G&D Integrated, a specialized provider of transportation and logistics, announced that it is the recipient of the Liberty Mutual Insurance 2015 Gold Safety Award for outstanding reduction in crash frequency.
Award criteria requires specific safety program elements be in place within an organization in addition to achieving a measurable improvement in vehicle crash frequency. To be eligible to receive a gold safety level award requires a minimum of at least 26 percent improvement in crash frequency during a specific one year period. According to Liberty Mutual, G&D Integrated far exceeded that requirement and achieved a 36 percent reduction from October 2014 to October 2015. “We are proud to receive this honor and are dedicated to safety in every aspect of our operations at G&D,” said Jeff Cohen, vice president of transportation at G&D Integrated. “We want to keep our nation’s roadways safe so we’ve created a drivers safety council, our own transportation safety manual and implemented a fleet wide safety training program for our employees.”
