MORTON, IL, February 8, 2018 – G&D Integrated, a specialized provider of transportation and logistics services, featured one of the company’s new trucks equipped with collision mitigation technology at the Midwest Truck and Trailer show in Peoria, Illinois on February 2 and 3 at the Peoria Civic Center. The show gives professionals in the trucking industry an opportunity to talk to distributors, suppliers, and customers face-to-face about the latest and greatest developments in the trucking industry.

G&D Integrated and Truck Centers, Inc. highlighted a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia at the show which is equipped with Detroit Assurance, Freightliner’s collision mitigation technology. With a bumper-mounted radar and windshield-mounted camera, Detroit Assurance communicates information to the truck’s brakes, engine, and transmission in real time to help mitigate collisions and enhance driver safety. G&D currently has 10 trucks in its fleet that utilizes this technology. “We value the strong relationship we have developed with G&D as their truck dealership and are excited to see the company enhancing their fleet with this new cutting-edge technology from the Freightliner group,” said John Pacotti, sales executive at Truck Centers.

As part of an aggressive fleet replacement program, G&D expects to continue to replace trucks and trailers into 2018 and beyond. The company’s fleet services the Midwest, Southeast, and South Central regions of the United States and is supplemented by freight brokerage services which provide full coverage across the country. “We fully support new technology that helps keep the roads as well as our drivers safer,” said Jeff Cohen, executive vice president of transportation at G&D Integrated. “We will continue to make safety a top priority as we continue to grow our company and expand our fleet.”
